Close the opening, fasten off, pull the thread to a stitch at the tip, and sew in the end at the back. The tip will bulge a bit forward.

Arms

Crochet two in your base color (white). The arms are not filled.

Leave a long tail for sewing. Flatten the opening and sew it together.
Sew the arms directly under the head on the left and right of the neck. Do not cut the yarn. Pull the thread to the middle of the body (to Rd 8) and create the belly button (navel). Stitch from one stitch to the next and pull the thread backward tightly. The navel will now be arched inward. Knot the thread with another thread of the arms, sew it up thoroughly, and let them disappear into the body.

Cape

Crochet in your base color (white). You can either use the same yarn as your base color or choose a thinner cotton yarn or alpaca yarn like Drops Nord. Use a crochet hook size larger if your yarn is thinner to avoid tight crocheting. Crochet in rows; the tch isn’t counted.

Start with a Ch-sp of 19 Ch:

Leave a long thread (approx. 30 cm) for sewing the hat onto the ghost’s head. Crumple (squeeze) the hat a little for better shape.

Mini Pumpkin

Crochet in your additional color (orange). Crochet in rows; the tech isn’t counted.

Start with a Ch-sp of 11 Ch:
- Each stitch is crocheted BLO.
- 12 Rows of 2 Sc BLO, 6 Hdc BLO, 2 Sc BLO, tch (10)

Do not cut the yarn. Fold the short sides of your rectangle together and crochet the outer loops loosely with Slst. Cut the thread (about 1 meter), turn your pumpkin inside out, and close the first opening by weaving the thread through the top edge of each row. Close the other opening similarly (don’t forget to stuff the pumpkin before closing).
Create the proper shape by using the thread like a cross pulling around your pumpkin – pull tight.
Stem: Pull the thread to the top, make a loop, and crochet 6 Ch, and 5 Slst to secure. Fix the thread and sew the pumpkin onto the ghost’s head.

Embroider the Face

Embroider each eye with thin black thread over 2 stitches diagonally from Rd 11 to 12. The distance between them at Rd 11 should be about 5-6 stitches.
If using safety eyes, place them at Rd 11 with approx. 7 stitches between. Adding dark shadows under the eyes using a thin black crayon can enhance the look.
Open eyes: Embroider them at Rd 11. to 12. The distance between them should be about 7 stitches.
Embroider the eyebrows at Rd 6. to 7.
Create a cute small or funny-creepy mouth at Rd 13. Use rouge or a beeswax crayon on the cheeks area for finishing touches.
